Abstract

Olanzapine is used as antipsychotic drug for the management of many psychiatric disorders. Even its therapeutic dose may be fatal while overdose may increase morbidity and mortality. There is no specific antidote to Olanzapine over dosage. We report a case of 16 year old school going girl who ingested 300 mg of Olanzapine (40 tablets of 7.5 mg each) with suicidal intent and was successfully managed. Hence the case report.
