Abstract

Forensic odontology is a developing science of great importance to the human community. It plays a key role in incidents of mass disaster for individual identification. This present study was carried out with the objective of assessing the contribution of health professionals towards forensic odontology literature from all over the world. A thorough literature search was carried out through PubMed database. The result showed an increasing trend in publication on forensic odontology over the years and India has contributed maximum number of publications. This article highlights the topics which are least studied so that future researches can focus on those areas of forensic odontology.
