With the blessed discovery of organ transplantation in recent, not only one can extend the life of sufferer but can dream of living after death too. The number of road traffic deaths continues to rise steadily, of which only 5–10 % of the accidental victims can serve for the donor pool as donors. The existing barriers in the present system must be addressed comprehensively including upgrading of facilities at transplantation centers and even in tertiary care centers. Socio-cultural evolution is also to be addressed widely.
