Abstract

A 32 year old female dead body was brought for post mortem examination. She had underwent an abortion by a BAMS doctor and discharged from hospital. After three hours she developed pain in abdomen and bleeding per vaginum and died within an hour. This is a unique case of criminal abortion by an Ayurveda practitioner for discussion.
