Abstract

Using a dispersed repeat In rice referred to as pOSMIC-2, an attempt was made to assess the genetic variability among 18 Indica cultivars. Based on the RFLP data and Nei's F values obtained by using three enzymes viz. Dral, EcoRV and Scal, a dendrogram was constructed which clearly indicated similarities and differences among these rice cultlvars.
