Charcoal rot of soybean caused by Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi.) Goid. is known as major yield reducer and economically important disease of soybean. Under favourable conditions Macrophomina phaseolina causes substantial losses and may become destructive disease at all the growth stages of crop. Soybean have been reported 30 % yield losses due to charcoal rot in Marathwada region of Maharashtra. As use of bio-control agents like Trichoderma spp., Pseudomonas spp. as a seed treatment, a soil application and foliar spray it always found effective against pathogen and also improved growth of crops. To find out the development of eco-friendly low-cost input and indigenous technology to produce disease-free soybean seeds, the experiment was conducted with bio agents and eco-friendly low-cost bioagents. Among the treatments (T6) T. asperellum (ST) @10 ml/Kg seed in 100 ml water + (FS) @10 ml/100 ml water at 30,45 and 60. shows 93.00 % field emergence which was found effective and shows 93.33 % field emergence, minimum seedling mortality i.e. 7.00 %, 12.33%, 14.0% and 15.0% at 15,30,45 and 60 DAS, respectively and highest shoot length, root length and dry weight i.e. 30.33 cm, 15.35 cm and 8.3 gm/plant respectively at 45 DAS which is followed by treatment T10i.e. Herbal Kunap Jal (ST) @10 ml/Kg seed in 100 ml water + (FS) @10 ml/100 ml water at 30,45 and 60 DAS which show 90.33% field emergence,4.66%, 15.66%, 16.66% and 18.66 % seedling mortality at 15,30,45 and 60 DAS and 28.96 cm, 14.33 cm, and 4.93gm /plant at 45 DAS Shoot length, Root length and Dry matter, respectively.
