Abstract

The incidence of citrus dry root rot was assessed in 21 acid lime, 7 each of Rangpur lime and Rough lemon nurseries located in Kadapa, Chittoor and Anantapur districts of Andhra Pradesh (A.P). Highest incidence of 44% was recorded in Kodur followed by Anantharajpet (35.6%). The pathogen was identified as Fusarium solani. Root stock, Rough lemon was found highly susceptible to the disease (42.8%) compared to Rangpur lime (10.87%). Of the six fungicides tested, carbendazim (0.1%) could reduce the disease incidence up to 91.7%.
