In bioassay test of systemic fungicides, difeiloconazole inhibited the maximum growth of Alternaria solani even at a minimum concentration of 250 ppm. Non-systemic fungicides, mancozeb gave cent per cent inhibition of Alternaria solani at a minimum concentration of 1000 ppm. Among combination of systemic and non-systemic fungicides, maximum growth inhibition was recorded in metalaxyl + mancozeb at 1000, 1500 and 2000 ppm concentration. The field performance of mancozeb (0.2%) was remarkable gave a high control of disease in respect of checking the disease intensity and incidence of infected fruits. Metalaxyl + mancozeb 0.2% ranked second and remained at par with mancozeb.
