Abstract

The efficiency against chilli of fruit rot causing pathogen i. e. Colletotrichum capsici. eight fungicides, four bioagents and six phytoextracts in in vitro was assayed. Maximum inhibitory effects of chlorothalonil and propiconazole followed by aliette, was observed among biogent Trichoderma viride, Trichoderma harzianum and Pseudomonas fluroscens while Azadirachta indica, Prosopis juliflora, Terminalia catapha (5 and 10%) against five isolates of Colletotrichum capsici was effective for maximum ingibition. Similarly, fungicides, plant extreact and bioagents recorded varied type inhibitory action against different.
