Abstract

The studies were undertaken for the management of Myrothcium leaf spot disease of soybean. carbendazim 0.1%, chlorothalonil 0.25%, dithane M 45 0.25%, copper oxychloride 0.25% and propiconazole 0.1% proved most effective in reducing 100 per cent mycelia growth in vitro. In pot trial the spray of chlorothalonil 0.05% and copper oxychloride 0.25% were effective in reducing the disease and recorded 38.33 and 36.30% pre cent disease control respectively under high disease pressure as 54.07% disease intensity was recorded in control.
