Four fungicides and four bio-agents were evaluated against Sclerotium rolfsii causing root rot of chilli (Capsicum annum L.) under in vitro. Among the four bioagents tested Trichoderma harzianum recorded maximum growth inhibition (77.82%) of S. roifsii, followed by T. viride (66.06%).Among the fungicides, carboxin and propineb were found effective in inhibiting the mycelial growth of test fungus at 0.05,0.10 and 0.2% concentrations.
