Abstract

Mutant strains of Trichoderma spp were developed by irradiating to ultraviolet light. Later the mutants were compared with the wild type for their morphological characters, tolerance to Carbendazim and antagonism against Macrophomina phaseolina. Among seven isolates, TM 17 recorded highest growth rate, sporulation, inhibition and tolerance to Carbendazim when compared to wild type.
