The present investigation was made to isolate and identify the entomopathogenic fungi from Pune district and their germination percentage. The entomopathogenic fungi viz., Beauveria bassiana -B.ba 127 and Metarrhizium anisopliae - M.a, 124 were isolated from College of Agriculture, Beauveria bassiwla - B.ba 129 and Metarrhizium anisopuae - M.a, 121 from Sinhagadh and Nomuraea rileyi - N.r. 114 from Wagholi. Beauveria bassialla (B.ba 127) showed the highest germination of 92.30 per cent on Potato dextrose Agar. Metarrhizium anisopliae showed the highest germination on Malt Extract Peptone Agar (92.30%) and Nomuraea rileyi showed the highest germination on Saboraud Malt Extract Peptone Agar (83.30%).
