The present investigation was undertaken at All India Coordinated Research Project on Arid Zone Fruits, Department of Horticulture, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri during kharif 2010–11 and 2011–12 to assess the bio-efficacy of new fungicidal formulations. Cercospora spot of pomegranate was minimum in Zineb 68% + Hexaconazole 4% WP @ 30g/10L and 25 g/10L and significantly superior at all the observation days.
Among the different treatments, spraying of Zineb 68% + Hexaconazole 4% WP @ 30 g/10 L per tree basis was most effective against leaf spot as well as fruit spot diseases and statistically at par with the treatment of Hexaconazole 4% + Mancozeb 62% WP @ 25 g/10 L per tree basis. Application of Zineb 68% + Hexaconazole 4% WP @ 30 g/10 L gave higher yield 141.25 q/ha followed by @ 25 g/10 L per tree basis 134.26 q/ha while yield of pomegranate was less in untreated control 73.22 q/ha. The spray treatment of Zineb 68% + Hexaconazole 4% WP @ 30 and 25 g/10L per tree basis dose were at par with each other and significantly superior to standard check fungicides.
