A study was carried out for determining the effect of various carriers at different temperature and light ranges showed significant effect on survival of Pseudomonas fluorescens during storage period. The survival rate was sustained in all carriers at 0°C. However, the most favourable temperature for the growth of P. fluorescens was found at 25°C followed by 15°C in all carriers. Talc was found best carrier in all temperature ranges. However cheap sources of carriersvizSpent mushroom substrate and fly ash were also found suitable for shelflife of P. fluorescens. Similarly, among all light ranges, 16hrs light + 8hrs dark was found better for growth of P. fluorescens in all carriers followed by 12hrs light + 12hrs dark.
