Environmental Governance in India: A Study of Industrial Pollution Control

Today Environment became very important factor in Human lives and it has great impact on modern society. Environment pollution is worldwide issue and it has adverse impact on the health of human populations. Pollution became major issue in India and Protection of Environment is prime concern of the Government in this context many policies has been implementing in the country such as Central pollution control board, Environmental protection act 1986 and National Environmental policy 2006 etc. are brought to protect environment for future generations. Environmental governance is about how national governments and international organizations and charters/covenants deal with the problems associated with sustainable environment. The Present Article is will discuss the problem of Industrial pollution Environmental Policy concerns in India and also examine the participation of government and other organizations like Non-Governmental organizations, civil society organizations and Industrial management in protecting Environment and playing key role in controlling Industrial pollution in the country.
