Effect of Citrus Ring Spot Disease on Yield and Fruit Quality of Kinnow

Studies were conducted to determine the effect of citrus ring spot disease on yield and fruit quality of Kinnow. Infected plants had lesser number of fruits which were lighter in weight. CRSV adversely affected the quality of the Kinnow fruits. Fruit length, breadth, weight, granulation index, juice content, TSS, TSS/acidity ratio, Vitamin C and reducing sugar decreased while shape index, peel, rag, peel thickness and acidity increased in the fruits from the ring spot infected Kinnow plants.
