A study was conducted to know the level of adoption of selected pea cultivation Practices by the pea growers of Ludhiana district and it was found that 71.20% of pea growers used recommended varieties of pea, but more than two third did not use recommended seed rate, 74.40% did not treat seeds before sowing, nearly 70.00% did not follow recommended plant to plant spacing, more than two third did not sow pea crop at the recommended time, 72.00% did not apply FYM, 56.00% used up to 100% more than recommended dose of Urea and majority of pea growers did not use the recommended insect-pest control measures.
