A study was conducted to explore profile, start-up operations and problems of successful agripreneurs of Punjab. A sample of 40 agripreneurs was selected using simple random sampling from a list prepared from the agricultural magazines showcasing success stories in the field of agripreneurship. Results revealed that agripreneurship is a male dominated bastion with participation from large farmers. Majority of the agripreneurs were second-generation entrepreneurs with mean age for the sample touching 50 years. It was found that the majority of the agripreneurs arranged seed capital on their own and largely from their own savings. Majority of the agripreneurs faced start-up problems. Problems related to labour and general management were prevalent among agripreneurs.
