Abstract

The present investigations were conducted on 11 tomato genotypes grown under net house and in open field conditions in randomized block design at research farm of Department of Vegetable Science, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in 2008–09. It was found that the genotypes CLN-146-B and Sel-2-1 were superior in terms of yield and quality traits under net house as compared to the open field conditions. These genotypes exhibited the potential to be exploited at the commercial level.
