Greengram (Moongbean) is one of the important pulse crops in India. It plays a major role in augmenting the income of small and marginal farmers. The main objective this study is to demonstrate production technology and its management practices on farmer’s field under different farming situations. The technological and extension yield gaps in summer moong crop were studied for two years during summer 2019 and summer 2021 Cluster Front Line Demonstration (CFLD) program in Ropar district, submountainous zone of Punjab, India. During the year 2019 and 2021, a yield of 9.70 and 9.38 q ha-1 was obtained under FLD plots compared to 7.88 and 7.25 q ha-1 under check plots, respectively. Improved technology package enhanced the mean yield over the two years from the demonstration plots (9.54 q ha-1) as compared to farmers’ practice (7.57 q ha-1). Technology gap and extension yield gap of 1.96 and 1.98 q ha-1, respectively were recorded in summer moong during the study period. The additional cost of cultivation with improved technology varied between Rs 1000 to Rs 1400 ha-1 with additional returns of Rs 11294.5 to Rs 14292 ha-1 in the present study.
