Positive Vibes from the Drug Regulatory Authority of India

Abstract

After many reported incidences of deaths related to clinical trials in India, the Supreme Court of India recently pulled up the Ministry of Health, forcing it to come out with new strategies. New amendments have been inserted in the Drug and Cosmetic Rules, thus giving a hope that soon the scenario will improve. This short discussion reviews these amendments and their potential outcomes.
