There are various causes for enlarged spleen which is a common clinical scenario seen in day to day practice. However, pseudocyst leading to splenomegaly is rarely encountered. Here, we present a case of a huge splenic pseudocyst in a young female which was slowly progressing over a long duration and was not associated with any antecedent causes. It was managed by total splenectomy and the patient has recovered well.
