Thirty six male Assam goats were utilized in the present study which were divided into three groups viz. group 1 (control) animals received no zinc supplementation, while the group 2 and 3 animals received inorganic and organic form of zinc supplements, respectively, along with concentrate mixture. Biometrical studies revealed a defnite trend of increase of length, width, thickness and weight of the ampulla of both the sides with advancing age as measures at monthly intervals. It was confrmed that the organic zinc supplemented group of animals had a better growth of ampullae in terms of its different biometrical measurements.
