The study revealed significant differences among the genotypes for all the nutrients studied. On the basis of mean performance, six among the 18 diverse genotypes studied viz., EC376123, EC376113, EC376107–2, EC376139–3, CB-4 and CB-3 were found superior with respect to ascorbic acid, chlorophyll ‘a’, chlorophyll ‘b’ and total chlorophyll; dry matter content and copper; zinc and calcium; iron; protein and manganese, respectively. These quality traits found in different genotypes are expected to play an important role in human nutrition.
