Thirty four genotypes oftoria were evaluated in four different environments (early and late sown during 2003 and 2004) for thirteen characters to assess the genetic variability and correlation analysis. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed highly significant differences between genotypes for all the characters studied. Higher phenotypic and genotypic coefficients of variation coupled with high heritability and genetic advance were recorded for number of secondary branches, number ofsiliquae per plant, siliqua length and number of seeds per siliqua. The association of seed yield was found to be positive and significant for days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, plant height, number ofsiliquae per plant, biological yield and harvest index under different environments.
