The present study was conducted from November 2007 to March 2008 in 8 places of Jammu division to find out the prevalence of brucellosis, peste des petits ruminants (PPR), contagious caprine pleuropneumonia (CCPP) and blue tongue in 61 sheep and 139 goatsamples. Highest prevalence of brucellosis was recorded in goats at GBF Rajbagh and in sheep at SBF Panthal whereas PPR was higher in samples of hilly areas. The samples collected from unorganized herds and migratory animals recorded higher prevalence of CCPP where as blue tongue was higher at Rajbagh in goats and in sheep at Ghagwal and Dayala chak.
