Abstract

An attempt was made to produce excretory and secretory (E/S) antigen of Toxocara canis larvae. The larvae of T. canis were experimentally hatched using 37% sodium hypochlorite and were maintained in RPMI-1640 medium with antibiotics in an incubator at 37°C, 95% humidity and gassed with 5% CO2. The culture fluid containing E/S antigen was dialysed, ultrafiltered and lyophilized.
