Abstract

On necropsy of three sheep having a history of inappetence, rapid loss of weight, progressive dehydration, dark mucoid diarrhoea followed by death, lenticular shaped nodules measuring 5–6 mm in diameter on the mucosa of duodenum were observed. A number of adults and few immature worms were present and identified as Stilesia globipunctata based on the morphological features.
