Abstract

Cattle naturally infected with mixed infection of Fasciola gigantica and Fasciola hepatica had significantly low serum protein, albumin, glucose, calcium and phosphorus and significantly high values of aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase and arginase. Subsequent to treatment with triclabendazole, the values returned to normal.
