Abstract

Four non-descript male horses aged between 1–4 years having partial to complete corneal opacity were treated surgically for ocular filariosis at Jammu. The recovery was uneventful and opacity cleared in about 3 weeks. Five Setaria worms were collected of which three were Setaria digitata (two males and one female) and two were Setaria equina, both male.
