Abstract

The present study was conducted at Parambikulam wild life sanctuary in Palghat district, Kerala. A total of 139 faecal samples were collected from lion-tailed macaque during February 2000 (50), April 2001 (42) and June 2001 (47). Out of 64.75% positive samples, 32.37%, 14.39%, 30.94% and 31.65% were positive for strongyles, Strongyloides, trichurids and spirurids, respectively.
