Fecal samples of 642 stray dogs of Jodhpur city revealed a total of 88% gastrointestinal parasite infections. Prevalence of Ancyclostoma spp. was predominant (92.93%) followed by Toxocara spp. (4.95%) and Toxascaris leonina (2.12%). The mean value of eggs per gram of faeces was 1363.85±26.18 with range of 900 to 1800 eggs gram−1 of faeces for Ancyclostoma spp. In most of the stray dogs, the general health was poor with rough hair coat and mucous membrane of conjunctiva were pale in colour.
