A study was conducted for three weeks on re-infestatin patterns of ixodid ticks on different body areas of cattle, initially made free from infestations for 4–5 days by spraying pyrethroid, Sumicidin and Butox. In spite of numerical reduction, ticks had shown a tendency to maintain almost similar patterns of distribution prior to the treatment with certain exceptions. Sprayings of whole body should be repeated after three weeks.
