Abstract

Epidemiological study on coccidiosis in cow claves of Marathwada region during July 2004 to June 2005 revealed an overall prevalence of 43.53% (431/990) in cow calves which was highest in July (64.16%) month and in monsoon (53.58%) season. The calves between 3–6 months of age group were highly (56.61%) susceptible to coccidiosis and higher prevalence rate was also observed in males (61.50%) as compared to female (27.61%) calves.
