Abstract

Histopathological evaluation of skin biopsies collected from camels affected with sarcoptic mange cases revealed sub-acute necrotizing dermatitis in 46%, chronic sclerosing dermatitis in 34% and acute proliferative type of dermatitis in 20% cases. Cut sections of the remnants of degenerated mites were observed which were seen embedded in proliferating fibrous tissue mass.
