In the endeavour to obtain wild isolates of nematode-trapping fungi from Chhattisgarh, 68 faecal, soil and animal bedding samples were screened from areas around Anjora, Durg. Only two nematode-trapping fungi could be isolated. Morphology and morphometry of conidia, conidiophore, trapping structure and presence or absence of chlamydospores of those fungi led to their identification as Arthrobotrys oligospora and Duddingtonia flagrans.
