Abstract

Comparative efficacy of herbal oil of lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) and citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) was studied in graded dilutions in goats naturally infected with Hyalomma, Haemaphysalis and Rhipicephalus ticks. Based on time taken for complete elimination of body ticks, efficacy of lemongrass oil was comparatively better than citronella oil.
