Abstract

In the present study the substituted cinnoline derivatives condensed with imidazole moiety were evaluated for anthelmintic activity, which involved determination of time of paralysis and time of death of earthworms. Four cinnoline imidazole derivatives exhibited potent anthelmintic activity with significantly longer paralyzing time and death of worms in significantly shorter time when compared to mebendazole.
