Abstract

Thermocole sheets impregnated with fungal spores of Metarhizium anisopliae and Baeuveria bassiana were evaluated at three concentrations (5x107, 7.5x107 and 15x107 spores per ml) against adult house flies under laboratory conditions. In these trials, all the three concentrations of M.anisopliae spore caused >90 per cent mortality of adult house flies in 6 to 10 days. In case of B.bassiana, two concentrations of 7.5x107 and 15x107 spores per ml produced >90 per cent mortality of flies while the lowest concentration (5x107) caused 82.9±7.2 per cent mortality of adult flies.
