Abstract

The rabbits with the history of severe itching, loss of hair with chalky white deposits were suspected for mange infection. Skin scraping examination revealed presence of Notoedres cati confirming the diagnosis of notodectic mange. The rabbits were completely cured by single dose of ivermectin treatment without any side effects.
