The present clinical report is the description of first case of severe chronic cattle diarrhoea associated with Balantidium coli infection in Punjab state of India which was successfully treated with a combination of metronidazole and tetracycline. The efficacy of drugs was estimated on the basis of disappearance of clinical signs and absence of cysts/trophozoites in faeces of animal.
