Joyeuxiella pasqualei infection was reported from a wild cat. In the posterior border of duodenum characteristic lesions of chronic catarrhal enteritis and a zone of moderate inflammation at the site of attachment of scolex was noticed. Based on the characteristic morphological features, the tape worm was identified as Joyeuxiella pasqualei. This is the first report on the occurance of J. pasqualei in wild cat from Puducherry.
