Abstract

Occurrence and morphology of Strongylus Muller, 1780 species in a free ranging one horned rhino (Rhinoceros unicornis) from Kaziranga National Park, Assam, India has been described. Morphological features have been compared and found to have taxonomical resemblance to the type species Strongylus edentatus (Looss, 1900) (syn. Alfortia edentatus).
