Histopathological examination of liver collected from the slaughtered goats affected with Cysticercus tenuicollis revealed the presence of burrowing canals indicating the tortuous migratory paths of the immature cysticerci. There was infiltration of cells like eosinophils, neutrophils, macrophages, lymphocytes and plasma cells around the centre of lesion suggestive of inflammation. Along with this, there was granular degeneration and deposition of serofibrinous exudates.
