India is home to some unique antelope species including Antelope cervicapra (Linnaeus, 1758) and Gazella bennettii (Sykes, 1831). The systemic studies on the health status of these animals are quite limited. The Body Condition Evaluation technique was used to access the health status of these rescued and rehabilitated antelope species at Van Vihar National Park, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Faecal samples of these animals were also screened for gastrointestinal parasites by using qualitative and quantitative techniques. In the present study the body condition of the animals thus accessed was compared with the level of gastrointestinal parasitism and physical status of the animals.
