Abstract

The efficacy of Himalayan cedar wood oil (Cedrus deodara) was studied in rabbits naturally infested with Psoroptes cuniculi mites. It was observed that the mean lesion score in the Cedrus deodara oil treated group was significantly lower than the untreated group in the post treatment period and was comparable to benzyl benzoate emulsion treated group on day 14 and 21 post treatment.
