In the present study diagnosis of Trypanosoma evansi infection in bovines was conducted using the wet blood film method, giemsa staining, buffy coat technique and also using the highly sensitive detection methods like ELISA and EITB. Further, sensitivity and specificity of ELISA and EITB were calculated using the microscopic detection method as gold standard.
