Abstract

Taenia taeniaeformis and Spirometra sp. were detected during the gastrointestinal tract examination of a feral domestic cat (Felis catus) from Palampur (H.P.), a sub temperate region of north western Himalayas. This appears to be the first report of these parasites from this region.
