Abstract

Weights of chicks in chemically bursectomised infected (CBI) group were adversely affected. RBC counts were lower throughout the experiment. PCV values were lower on 10th to 30th days. Hb values and MCV values were lower on 10th day. MCH and MCHC values were not affected. Leucocytes counts were significantly increased on 30th to 50th days. Heterophil counts were higher on 0 to 30th days. Lymphocytes counts were significantly increased on 10, 30, 40 and 50th days. Eosinophil counts were elevated on 20 to 50th days. Monocyte counts were increased on 10 and 20th days. Basophil counts did not showed change. In CBI group TPP values were maximum on 10th day then gradually declined. Ab values were increased on 10th day. Gb values were found higher on 10 to 30th days. A: G values were lower on 10 to 30 days. Mean cholesterol values were higher. Total lipid values were higher on 30 to 50th days. Calcium values were higher on 20, 30 and 50th days. Inorganic phosphorus values were higher on 20 to 50th days. AKP values were increased on 20th day. Howerver, ACP values were incrased on 10th day. GOT values were higher on 10th day while GPT values were elevated on 20 to 50th days.
